On August 9, 2016, HIZEAERO signed the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with BTC (Boeing Tianjin Composite) in Tianjin, China which is the subsidiary company of global aircraft manufacturing company Boeing.
According to the MOU; 1) BTC will offer active support to HIZEAERO for the construction of plant in Tianjin, China, and 2) HIZEAERO will also support BTC for increasing supplies.
HIZEAERO has focused on sales increase in China, Japan, etc. that are the emerging aircraft countries and since the last year, has made contracts about aircraft part supply with AVIC International Holding Corporation, COMAC(Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd.), SAMC (Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd.), BTC in China, and SMIC(ShinMaywa) in Japan, and so on. Thus, HIZEAERO has secured increasing overseas sales and potential growth in aerospace business.
Especially in the last April, HIZEAERO made contracts about B737 and B787; both are the main models in Boeing, with BTC. As HIZEAERO starts business on Vertical Fin as well as Horizontal Stabilizer which is currently manufactured for B737, it is expected to expand sales and keep partnership with BTC.
Sangheon Ha, the CEO said that this MOU was the first step for entry to China, therefore, it would be our competitiveness of market expansion in China. HIZEAERO will make the construction plan in detail by this year and complete the construction by 2017.
