<31st Oct 2017> KAI receives US $48 milliion MRO contract of US Military Fighter (F-16) project

Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) has been normalizing rapidly after Kim Joo-won's appointment. KAI signed a contract to maintenance/ repaire/ overhaul more than 90 fighter jets for US Air Force F-16 fighter jets. The contract amounted to US $ 48 million (approx. KRW 54.7 billion) and contract period is from this month to September 2022. MRO is a business that requires technological capability and quality management ability. Especially Hizeaero has run a MRO business uniquely among SME in south korea, positive busuness oultlook is expected. KAI is investing about 700 billion won in Gyeongsangnam-do and Sacheon-si in order to expand MRO business area, industrial complex with a size of 310,000m2 near the Sacheon.
